I bought the SteelGuard Pro after upgrading to a $2,000 e-bike and realizing my old cable lock just wouldn’t cut it. The difference is night and day. This lock is clearly built to withstand serious attacks—no joke, it looks and feels like industrial equipment. It’s heavy though, but makes it seem that much more secure. That said, the trade-off is worth it because I know my bike’s not getting stolen when I leave it outside my office. Got 2 extra keys, and the locking mechanism feels smooth and solid. I’ve been cycling for over 10 years and have gone through my fair share of locks—U-locks, cables, you name it. But nothing compares to the SteelGuard Pro. This thing is a beast. The chain is thick, heavy, and clearly made of quality hardened steel. I tried cutting through an old lock with bolt cutters once just to test, and I couldn’t get past it, this chain is even tougher.
